Children are placed by the Committee into the 1, 3, 5, 9, and 18-hole groups by skill, age, and maturity.
Advancement to the next group is based on a minimum of two (2) scores.
Advancement
Any 1-Holer shooting two scores of 12 or less may move to 3-holers.
Any 3-Holer shooting two scores of 27 or less may move to 5-holers.
Any 5-Holer that shoots two scores of 40 or less and passes the etiquette test may move to 9-holers.

9 and 18-Holers must enter all scores into the handicap computer which is located in the locker room hallway.
Children must keep pace with their group or they may be moved back a group.
Junior Golfer Responsibilities
Each player must have their own set of clubs, bag, golf balls, tees, and ball markers.
Juniors are required to walk. Carts are not available.
Each player must identify the ball they are playing prior to the start of play.
Golf is a game of sportsmanship and integrity. Use good manners and follow the U.S.G.A. rules of golf.
Take good care of the golf course. Replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake bunkers upon exiting them. Remember to leave the course in better condition than you found it so that players after you may also enjoy our fine golf course.
Disrespect, club throwing, and temper outbursts will not be tolerated. Offenders could face disciplinary action.
Be thoughtful of others. Do not talk or walk around when a member of your group is ready to play. Applaud good play and encourage those not having their best day.
Be ready to play when it is your turn. Play without delay and invite faster groups to play through.
Watch the other player’s ball and help them look for lost balls.
Mark your scores down as you are heading to the next tee.
Be aware of where your playing partners are at all times. Do not take practice swings when they are near you or walk ahead of their ball prior to them playing.
Do not play your shot until the group ahead of you is well out of reach.
Do not play when you see lightning or heat thunder. Evacuate the golf course or go to a shelter on the course for safety. If this is not possible seek dense woods, low lying ditches, or bunkers.
Dress Code
No jeans, cut-offs, tennis or short shorts are allowed to be worn.
Shorts must be no shorter than one’s own hand width above the knee cap.
No muscle shirts, tank tops, halter tops, or tee shirts are allowed. Boys must wear collared golf shirts, and they must be tucked in.
.Children in violation of the dress code will not be allowed to play
Parent/Walker Responsibilities

Walkers must keep track of, and record all strokes taken by juniors in their group. All whiffs must be counted. They must also sign and turn in the scorecard to the committee.
Walkers are responsible for proper etiquette, course care, and safety of the Junior golfer.
Walkers should get acquainted with the basic rules of golf. If questions arise, consult a Golf Professional.
Do not allow Junior golfers on golf carts.
A maximum of ten (10) strokes are allowed on the fairway. The ball must be picked up, placed on the edge of the green and putted. The score is recorded as 10+ putts.
Club throwing or temper outbursts will not be tolerated. Warn the Junior after the first incident. If the violation continues, report the problem to the Junior Golf Committee.
